Come explore the healing and lunar aspects of AcroYoga with us as we dive deep into the healing traditions of Thai massage and flying therapeutics. We will invite Laksmi’s energy of abundance and experience how the joy of giving allows us to receive 1008 times back! Thai massage, or “Nuad”, means “healing touch” and is a type of passive yoga and harmonizing massage. Therapeutic flying is an inverted aerial massage that brings the healing techniques of Thai massage into the air. In both traditions we work from our ”hara”, the physical/energetic center of our body. By finding the perfect fit with our touch and a deep connection through the breath, we are able to gently carry our receiver on the waves of ”metta” (loving kindness) to a place of peace and harmony .
GRACE OF GANESHA – the divine dance of flying with inversions and acrobatics
Sunday, 10 – 12:30 and 14:30 – 17:30
Through different yoga and partner exercises we will learn to bring awareness into every cell of the body and discover a new source of strength and grace. We will devote ourselves to inversions: yoga asanas that give us a refreshing new perspective and invite us to grow beyond our self-made boundaries. Inspired by Ganesha, the elephant God of Hindu Mythology known as the remover of obstacles who embodies animal elegance and the lightness of the stars, we will learn to connect the elements of earth and air in our bodies. The experience of ”basing” is grounding and stabilizing. As Flyers we learn to balance on the hands and feet of our base, weaving familiar yoga poses through ”flying transitions” into a divine dance in the air. Working with partners creates a safe environment and gives us a valuable opportunity to learn to be fully there for others. We ignite our collective potential as we support each other to reach new heights!
